BUTTERFLIESI actually had butterflies this morning. I haven't been open since 24th December 2019! Anyway, welcome to my lovely store, and I hope to see you as soon as rules allow. Thank you for all the wonderful messages of good luck I have received over the last fews days. I am very touched. / 12 May

TOOLSHere’s a great article on the colour wheel. I find this tool immensely useful when I want to mix colours either in making my clothes, or knitting up sweater designs. Canva is also the most brilliant website for DIY graphic design. / 13 May |

PERFECTIONThis is such perfection there’s not much to say, other than the hexagonal design here is created by making tiny and perfect pin tucks (I can’t even imagine how I would go about tackling that). Created by the queen of clothing design, Madeleine Vionnet. / 14 May

NEW TECHNIQUESMy current knitting work in progress. This is one of the latest designs from one of my favourite knitwear designers, Tashashu Gordon. Her work is so inventive and stimulating. I’m not actually making the garment she does, but have applied her stitch design to one of my garment designs. You do need to be quite experienced to tackle her designs, but what an incentive to improve! You can see her designs here Svetlana Gordon/ 15 May |
