This woven tube necklace is so popular because it unites essential features: ethnic and unique, handmade, from smooth glass beads, in stunning colourways. And in a variety of lengths from short to extra long.

How could you not fall for this tube necklace, made from glass beads woven together with a fine thread. And I would never wear just one : I wear several, mixing up lengths and colours.

In my collection since its inception, I really never tire of these beaded tubes. They are simply beautiful. It must be their shine, the brilliance of their workmanship and the silky feel of the glass beads.

  • A tactile, radiant jewel : the smooth little glass beads are worked in such a way as to produce a sophisticated and delicate feel.
  • A chic and simple accessory : artisanal craft means perfection, of movement, of workmanship for this tube necklace, even up to the whispering that the beads produce when the necklace moves.
  • A long and generous length : a tube necklace needs a good length for maximum effect. In matinée, opera or rope lengths, it’s the ideal piece of jewellery to emphasise your style, in the most elegant way.

Available in 3 colourways, some of my clients love to mix them up together, to better compliment or contrast with the colours in their outfit. And you?

Beads, an African ancestral tradition

The glass bead tube necklaces are designed and made by AB Beadwork, based in the KwaZulu-Natal province, on the eastern coast of South Africa. Founded in 1985, this social enterprise operates in the heart of a region plagued by poverty and unemployment.

The beaders live in the region and work at home, thereby allowing them to be available for their family, and help meet their financial needs. Their work is a mix of the traditional skill of Zulu beading with a more contemporary look, in shapes and colours.
