Black bias cut skirt with zip closure
Black bias cut skirt with zip closure
A black skirt is part of the female basics wardrobe. And here you have a style that is elegant and comfortable, that you can wear for any occasion. The fluidity of the fabric comes from the bias cut. Character and originality guaranteed.
The black skirt is a classic. No wardrobe can do without it. And not all skirt shapes suit all bodies. But let’s take the A-line skirt.
The black bias cut skirt is one of my flagship garments. It embodies couture that respects the fabric’s innate qualities. Rather than restricting its movement, the bias bring volume and fluidity to the game.
As well as its bias cut, you’ll love its fall: gently fitted at the waist, it widens towards the hips, in the tradition of a classic A-line skirt. The diagonal visible zip, underlines the natural movement of the cut.
A-line skirt or black dress, three in one
The particularity of this model is that your A-line skirt can be worn in two directions: with the zip in front or at the back. Whichever way you choose, the cut gives your silhouette a different fullness.
You can also wear it as a cocktail dress by pulling it up under the arms. You can add a top underneath, or add a pair of trousers or straight skirt.
A bias cut skirt in chameleon mode
The bias cut black skirt that I’ve designed has a precious gift: it will adapt to your shape and personality. It’s all about how you use it:
- for a business look, combine your black shirt with a blouse or a top with a wide collar and keep the accessories to a minimum.
- for a casual look, it’s the opposite: put the accent on accessories and choose a more constrasting, fitted top.
- for an evening look, either wear it as a skirt, with a gold or silver shiny top, preferably with little cap sleeves in a light or silky fabric. Or, as suggested above, wear it on its own, as a dress, pulling it up under the arms.
Ladies, my bias cut black skirt will be one of the most versatile garments in your wardrobe. Whether it’s winter or summer, you’ll be able to wear it during the day or evening, with heels or flats, with Derbys, ballerinas, tall or ankle boots.
