Hand beaded bangles, ethical and chic
Hand beaded bangles, ethical and chic
This beaded bracelet, an elegant and chic variation of a classic craft. Fall in love with this glass beaded bangle in pewter and black. Elegant yet simple, comfortable and delicate.
Do you look for chic accessories, that are also comfortable, elegant and simple? These are exactly the reasons I chose this beaded bangle, lined in black jersey. A lovely mix of shiny colours, pewter and black, bring a richness and unique brilliance to this beaded bracelet.
A special jewel, ethical and chic: the fine beading on a jersey lining emphasises the meticulousness and details of artisanal craft. You will wear a bracelet that has a story. A simple and comfortable accessory : flexible, this open beaded bangle is so easy to slide on. The glass beads are smooth and sleek, agreeable against the skin and gentle against your clothes.
The glass bead, at the heart of African craft
Beads have been used in African craft for at least twelve thousand years. In many different materials and in all forms of jewellery - bracelets, necklaces, earrings - connect via beads, considered a treasure by African societies.
Like my glass beaded rope necklaces, this beaded bangle is made by the AB Beadwork workshop, based in KwaZulu-Natal, on the eastern South-African coast. In their designs and colour choices, the beaders mix their traditional Zulu beading techniques with contemporary trends.
So go on, you will love wearing this simple and delicate beaded bangle. Unique and ethical. And also very chic.
